Alaskan Air Conditioning and Heating Donates New HVAC System and Repairs to Deaf Community Center in Phoenix, AZ
REPRINTED ARTICLE, MAY 2019. “As the hot summer months are approaching, Alaskan Air Conditioning has been working with the amazing group of people at the Deaf Community Center in Phoenix to perform cleanings and inspections of their A/C equipment. Upon inspection, it was determined that one of their units was inoperable, causing their building to overheat and cause discomfort.
We understand their efforts are focused on providing resources to their members, which include promoting the educational, social, and economic well-being of the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind communities. That is why Alaskan is proud to announce we’ve partnered with our manufacturers, and we will be providing an additional A/C unit to this amazing organization – all at no cost to this extraordinary Phoenix-based institution.
When Alaskan Air Conditioning schedules the installation of the new equipment, we’d like to formally invite you out to showcase the new equipment, as well as highlight all the great work that this Community does for those here in Phoenix. As the most recent census shows that 7.8% of Arizonians identify as Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Deaf-Blind, and we wanted to help bring to light all the great work they do for our local community.
