The technician explained that a certain part was failing. I explained that we paid for a parts and labour warranty. He argued that point and said we only had two years on labour. He then checked with the office and found that we did in fact have ten years but the parts would not be covered because they had not failed totally. I am quite dissatisfied with approach in that he said this may cause other parts to fail.

Always great service from Alaskan. Office staff is responsive, technicians are always on time or early. They know their business; no A/C issue they can't fix. Never have used anyone else so can't compare pricing. Still, labor costs to keep a relatively new system still under warranty running seems high - but no basis for comparison.
